Man The Stove is a site for guys cooking for a date.  Regardless of the occasion we’ll bring some recipes, ideas, tips and anything else that goes to help making sure that the date is great.

These are the few principles that guide what we post:

• all recipes have a few ingredients (usually less than five), are easy step-by-step and can generally be made in less than 30mins.  In fact, most times the “active” cooking time is even less than that.
• all recipes are designed to “impress”.  not necessary in the “show off” type of way, but in the “thoughtful” kind of way.
• all the photos and videos you see are shot with an iphone by me, as I cook.  There is no photoshop going on, no special lights, or anything else.  In fact,  to be more precise on the process: Camera+ on the iphone, apply basic cropping and framing, finally I post the pix directly to the blog using the iphone wordpress app.
• I try to keep the text to a minimum
